Spaces of Intention

Swati Yadav creates homes that feel lived-in before you arrive. Each space is shaped by restraint, texture, and the quiet power of a well-considered object.

Meeras

Gurugram, Haryana

Meeras

Meeras began as an experiment in restraint — how much of a space can be made by hand before it starts to feel like a world of its own. Every ceramic piece was thrown in Swati's studio. Every wall was painted by her. Every corner was composed the way a still life is composed: nothing accidental, everything considered.

The Bulbul Theory

Gurugram, Haryana

The Bulbul Theory

The Bulbul Theory was built around a single question: what does it feel like to step into a room and immediately sense that you are somewhere alive? The answer, here, is achieved through layering — rattan against clay-toned plaster, botanical forms beside hand-woven textiles, warm natural materials in a palette drawn from the forest floor.

Dreamers Den

Gurugram, Haryana

Dreamers Den

Dreamers Den was designed to feel deeply interior — a space that wraps around you rather than opening outward. The lighting strategy was the starting point: every source is warm, low, and directional, so the space has the quality of perpetual golden hour regardless of what the sky is doing outside.

The Daily Draft

Jodhpur, Rajasthan

The Daily Draft

The Daily Draft is a study in how physical comfort can create the conditions for thought. The swing, the reading chair, the quality of light at the desk — each element was placed to encourage a particular kind of settled, unhurried attention. The space was designed for people who do their best work when the room doesn't demand anything of them.

Cocoon

Gurugram, Haryana

Cocoon

Cocoon was the project where Swati worked most directly with colour as structure. The deep terracotta walls do not merely set a mood — they define the spatial boundaries of the room, making it feel smaller and more held than its actual dimensions. The palette was mixed and tested over several weeks before a final tone was committed to plaster.

The City View

Noida, Uttar Pradesh

The City View

The City View is the largest project in the portfolio and the one that most directly engages with the contemporary. Working with a newly constructed apartment, the challenge was to bring warmth and character to a space with clean modern bones — to make it feel considered without making it feel heavy.
