Design Story
The Daily Draft is a study in how physical comfort can create the conditions for thought. The swing, the reading chair, the quality of light at the desk — each element was placed to encourage a particular kind of settled, unhurried attention. The space was designed for people who do their best work when the room doesn't demand anything of them.
The palette is deliberately restrained: warm neutrals and bare materials that recede rather than assert. Nothing in the room competes for attention. The idea was to strip away every surface decision that might be distracting and leave only the things that make a room feel genuinely inhabited.
Every object earns its presence here. This is the design principle most visible in The Daily Draft — not what was added, but what was consciously left out.
